Gillian Arnold, Director 

Gillian has 30 years experience in the IT industry, the last twenty two years being with IBM. She has undertaken customer facing technical, sales, business development, strategic marketing and consultancy roles. She proved her expertise in managing and establishing teams for new products, and building teams with across-industry and across platform experience across EMEA and the UK. Gillian has now retired from IBM. Gillian has significant interest in encouraging more women into the STEM sectors and has chaired a forum for tellect, the IT trading body. She now sits on the board of Directors for WISE which supports Women in STEM, and is currently chair for BCSWomen, which is specialist group of the British Computer Society the Chartered institute for IT. Gillian was the winner of the 'Inspiration of the Year' category of the 2012 CISCO Everywomen in Technology Awards. 

Gillian brings a sense of democracy to the team, and offers all who work here a selection of Vitamins and Echinacea. She can often be found emptying a vast quantity of acquired pens out of her bag at the end of each week.

Christine Alexander-Smith, Training Consultant for Diversity Coaching Initiative (DCI)

Christine is an experienced Learning & Development Consultant and a Professional Certified Coach with the ICF, specialising in Diversity & Inclusion. She designs and delivers Diversity initiatives including coaching programmes which taught senior women how to run successful mentoring groups on behalf of organisations such as The Race for Opportunity, she designs and delivers Unconscious Bias programmes and Leadership programmes designed especially for women on behalf of organisations such as WISE.

Christine established the first Ethnic Diversity forum for IBM UK, sitting on their Diversity board in the UK for over four years. She also contributed to IBM EMEA's cultural diversity and gender initiative during her 12 years at IBM.

  

Christine has an amazing ability to boost confidence, and self esteem with a single look, and can often be found looking for new and exciting ways to make people smile everyday. Christine is often referred to as Tectre's Deanna Troi (Counselor on USS Enterprise)

Anne-Marie Tuck, Associate Consultant

Anne-Marie is delighted to be a Associate working with Tectre. She brings two decades of industry experience with her, beginning in Civil Engineering and more recently leading in diversity, inclusion and development roles.

Anne-Marie is a big fan of a nice cup of tea. She developed a love for it, and the ability to carry four full mugs at once during early work experience at a coal mine in the Welsh valleys!

Naz is a trainer and sometimes recruiter with the team.  She joined the company at the beginning of 2014, had a couple of sabbaticals away from us and has brought her passion for diversity back to the team.

Naz has the ability to make everyday feel like a Friday with her bubbly personality and 'lets do this' attitude.

Paul Newton, Trainee Web Developer

Paul joined us late on in 2016, as our new trainee Web Developer, as well as our in-house point of call for all things techie.

When he isn't buried deep in a pile of cables or random bits of paper and code, Paul has a great passion for food and music, and regularly shares his interests with the rest of the office.
